Unfortunately, the varicose veins (and associated symptoms) have returned less than 6 months following my EVLA treatment.
The benefits of sclerotherapy are clearly temporary and short-lived. Their promotional materials are somewhat idealistic and paint a very optimistic picture of both the discomfort experienced during and after the procedure, and chances of your varicose veins returning. They simply cannot guarantee how you will react following treatment.
Despite great expense and what was quite an ordeal, with considerable recovery following the laser ablation, the results are disappointing. I advise giving great consideration as to whether it’s worth risking substantial expenditure for minimal or short-term benefit.
