I have just had my follow up appointment at Veincentre Sheffield following laser and microsclerotherapy treatment in August. I’m delighted with the results so far - no more lumpy bumpy veins on my legs and the horrid black spider veins are now starting to disappear! I can’t thank Mark Regi enough for the treatment and care given during my clinic appointments. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming and put me totally at ease. I found Mark to be very friendly, funny and down to earth in his approach to the treatment. He told me what to expect both during and following the initial treatment and that is exactly what I did experience. Having previously had veins ‘stripped’ I was astounded that having had both legs laser treated, I went to work the following day and mowed the lawn when I got home! Even wearing the compression stockings for a week afterwards was not the ordeal I thought it would be - they are good quality and fit really well. I even chose to wear them on a recent long haul flight. If anyone is considering visiting the clinic, I can only say - do it - you won’t regret the investment in yourself!

Unfortunately, the varicose veins (and associated symptoms) have returned less than 6 months following my EVLA treatment. The benefits of sclerotherapy are clearly temporary and short-lived. Their promotional materials are somewhat idealistic and paint a very optimistic picture of both the discomfort experienced during and after the procedure, and chances of your varicose veins returning. They simply cannot guarantee how you will react following treatment. Despite great expense and what was quite an ordeal, with considerable recovery following the laser ablation, the results are disappointing. I advise giving great consideration as to whether it’s worth risking substantial expenditure for minimal or short-term benefit.

I can't thank mark & his team enough, from my first visit for consultation to what has hopefully just been my final visit, I was put totally at ease throughout. Although I was extremely nervous come treatment time all was explained fully as to what was happening & what to expect. Can't comment on final results yet as I'm not quite there yet just need more time but everything seems positive so far. I would highly recommend to anyone who has a problem with veins to take a look at this clinic.
