Really glad of the Veincentre Newcastle office and its accessibility to those in the North East. Found the admin service efficient and friendly. Found the location easy to get to and the clinical staff very friendly, professional and experienced. Really glad I went for that initial consultation -there was no pressure to follow through with recommendations from the duplex scan but it was really helpful to chat through the challenges with my veins and to understand more about where the source of the issues arose and what could be done to help. Really felt listened to and left feeling much more informed about my options and optimistic that things could improve (previous consultations had left me feeling there was not much that could be done in terms of medical interventions). After a bit of time to think and reflect, I followed through with the treatment and am very pleased I did. I do feel a genuine improvement in the level of discomfort and symptoms caused by my veins. And, overall, it has had a positive impact on my quality of life in my day-to-day.
