Unfortunately one of the patients next to me had foul language to both staff and his own family, plus he insisted on having his tablet and phone on extra loud so could hear every word. If the above had not happened I would have given a very good rating

To have a catheter removed. We saw the wonderful Adelaide. So warm, clear calm confident which made us feel very confident in leaving the hospital

Communication was good and all the staff were efficient and friendly..The successful outcome of the operation is a credit to the medical staff. Pre-op the nurse was very reassuring and helpful.

The call was made off-schedule, (which I don't mind per se) because the professor was going to be in surgery at the agreed time. The line was poor and there was a lot of noise going on in the background, and the professor gave the impression that he had far better/more important things to be doing than dropping the news of confirmed T3b disease on an anxious patient. I also don't know why my nodes weren't sampled, and can't establish what the score is there at all. I still don't have a fixed oncologist at Bart's, and am frankly at a loss to know what to do, now or next. My anxiety levels have not improved since, as I am left to scrabble around brick walls for information. I appreciate that everyone is very busy and overworked, but this fell short of the mark in terms of information and sensibility.
