I had urgent major abdominal surgery under Mr Oliver Warren in the Digestive Diseases Unit. My care was exemplary. I had suddenly become really unwell, needed urgent surgery and did not know if it was cancer or not. I was shocked and fearful. The doctors, nurses, HCA's catering staff and cleaners could not have been more professional, caring, supportive and just generally lovely. I was treated with dignity and respect, given all the information I needed and felt safe and secure. I had a hard post recovery period but was always supported and cared for so well day and night. There were some really special doctors (especially Mr Warren) and some amazing nurses. I have had a career in health so seen a lot and this was an example of getting it so right! I cant thank every member of staff enough - what a true example of great care

I was at London Clinc for a day hospital under the care of Mr.Chow, the whole team at the clinic is fantastic, extremely nice and attentive, from the nurses to the anesthetist etc, I was quite in pain just after the surgery and they made sure I was feeling well before sending me home. Food was also very good (especially for being in a clinic!) I usually don't write reviews but it's so hard to choose which hospital to be treated in, and I hope this review will help readers.

Where do you start with the problems here? Firstly the prices. They are extortionate. Part of the reason why insurance rates are undoubtedly going up. The prices were way over what other hospitals with much better reviews are offering. I have let my consultant know the prices and it's unfair on him that his patients are having to put up with this. I have advised him to leave the clinic and use other ones because it reflects very poorly on him. If you're getting charged that much you expect exceptional service so when you're met with rude and unhelpful staff then you're met with a bit of a shock. I was left waiting in the prep room for 20 minutes because I was brought down too early. Someone had to wait for me and no one was around but the nurse. So she was taken off the ward for 20 minutes because of poor organisation. No doubt at the expense of treatment of other patients on the ward. On top of that, when we first arrived at the hospital we were told there was a £350 deposit needed in case bloods were needed. We were implicitly told it was for no other reason about from bloods and would be refunded if they weren't taken. Surprise, surprise we had to call for a refund and it was for £6. The rest was taken for high value consumables that were used during the procedure. Nothing mentioned about this at the time and it was a pretty standard procedure. We're still waiting for an explanation two weeks later. Bottom line, it's an overpriced, money grabbing hospital and you should avoid at all costs.

Awful experience! Really bad. For a a very expensive private clinic its pitiful No aftercare whatsoever!!!! Please do not go to this clinic. Extortional charges and no aftercare! We have been to other private clinics and this is more expensive, but although the floor was half empty , everything was very slow. My father was discharged and they gave us phone number to call, but no discharge advise or leaflet or what needs to be done etc. My father had temperature and I called them to ask what to do, and this was next day after we left for home and they told they don't know who he is. After I told them that he was their patient and had surgery 1 day ago, they said, and I am not kidding that they do not hold the record of the patient that has been discharged!!!! I have never heard anything like that even in 3rd world countries. After all my father had a surgery in this place! After I made a fuss they said they will contact the consultant, but of course, consultant won't be available at 11 pm in the evening. So they did not help us or did not suggest anything. And my father is of advanced age and leaving him with high temperature is extremely dangerous. Fortunately I have lots of doctors in my family and they told me what do to. Otherwise, the whole thing This clinic is a disgrace. DO NOT EVER GO THERE.
