Great team, welcoming and definitely patient centric in their approach.
My stay at The Alexander Hospital gave me assurance, kindness and help from all members of staff. I cannot praise them enough.
Ms De Sousa and her team, together will all staff at The Alex were outstanding in their care for me during my treatment. Very clean, safe environment, and very caring staff. Thank you.
I was looked after so well here, all the staff from the: porters, dinner lady and nurses (the whole team). I was a day case patient at The Orchard and experienced such excellent care. I was made to feel at home, I had my own room and the food was lovely too. The staff couldn't do enough - they were AMAZING. The compassion is tremendous at this hospital. Thank you :)
I was happy with all my care , All staff were very professional and caring. I would recommend the hospital and the consultant for treatment to all family and friends
All staff involved in my care from beginning to me being discharged they were all great.
I came to the walk-in centre due to a significant increase in pain in my hip which was in line with earlier advice from physio and GP (ie if symptoms worsen).
The doctor I saw appeared tired and yawned throughout the very brief < 10 minute consultation. It was clear he hadn’t interpreted my medical history corrected based on the image request which said I had a hip arthroscopy a few months ago - it was 2017.
I was told to add co-codamol to the already heavy dose (500mg) of naproxen I’m on along with a paper for an imaging request for an MRI.
The consultant asked me to wait in the waiting area so he could go and speak to the MRI team. After I overheard him being told the centre is in another building in the grounds I think he changed his mind and gave me the paper to go instead.
Given I was walking with a crutch and had paid to be seen due to pain it felt an odd and insensitive request. I called my husband to pick
me up and drive me there. On arrival it was shut.
I came home with an MRI request that I can’t do anything with and a prescription to up weight my painkillers. I did NOT come home feeling listened to, reassured or with any further information or understanding of what is causing my pain.
I was surprised and disappointed t
I can't speak highly enough of the Alexandra, it's extremely clean everywhere. The rooms are very high quality and beds are so comfy. I didn't come across one single member of staff I felt were rude or unprofessional. One more thing, the food is fabulous.
This week I had a total hip replacement by Mr Kim and the Mako robot in the BMI Alexandra.I am in total awe as to how amazing the process was especially with the Mako robot! From the outstanding professionalism and dedication of Mr Kim and his team to the care provided by the dedicated anaesthetist team, Nursing staff, Physio team. Occupational Therapists, Admin. Staff , House Keeping and Porters who made the experience amazing. Each and every member of the team was a true professional, kind, caring with nothing being too much trouble-always smiling and making me laugh every single day.
Well done BMI Alexandra and Thank you!
