Very good care on Sat 10th Feb but speaking to 111 on phone Sun 11th and being sent to critical care unit at laid low where there was no nurses so had to then come back to hospital could be improved. Communication could be improved.
Well run service, kind and friendly staff.
Went in an ambulance with serious cuts. I was left in the waiting room with no cuts being cleaned. Other patients were being seen before us that were not bleeding to death. Will make a complaint.
All very friendly, although kept up to date with waits would be nice but understand under pressure. Andy, Lina, Theresa, A and E nurse with red hair, all amazing over both visits. Thank you.
Lovely friendly staff.
Friendly staff, swift assessment.
Waited upto 2 and 1/2 hour before any member of staff, spoke to us, then told to go to the other ward, which could have been sorted out as it was for an 11 month old son, we came into St Mary's at 224S and wasn't spoken to, once put into a side room surely when told by 111 to bring a young baby and tell the first nurse who checks you in that it's an 11 month old baby, you would get to see the right doctor, not just someone who passes you over!
Equality of staff and patients - good.
Try Canadian triage system. To have a designated A and E X-ray only (wishful).
To be seen by triage nurse 1st (not reception) - disses - levels 1-5 - once reviewed then reception.
