Everyone so kind and helpful.
Very good treatment and advice on everything what we needed to know took a lot of worry of our minds.
Caring and friendly nurses.
Very helpful with information, first class.
No improvements, all very good.
Care was very professional.
Our first visit from Julie was extremely helpful. It was very reassuring to learn of all the support and services we can call upon. Everything was explained very clearly.
My good friend had terminal cancer and she received great care from Jodie, Claire, Sam and Amy - Crisis Team members. Both teams were superb - explained everything they were doing by talking to both myself and Brenda as well as her 86 year old husband Trev. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. They gave as much support to myself and Trev as they did to Brenda - who passed away within 36 hours of their involvement. When I knew Brenda was near the end I called the helpline and they arrived within 15 minutes. It was only 30 minutes later that Brenda passed away and they stayed for some time afterwards. They washed Brenda, brushed her hair and put a clean nightdress on her with such care and compassion. From the minute we met, it felt like they were friends and couldn't do enough for any of us. Their professionalism (medical and personal) alongside their understanding, empathy and care is something we will not forget and we cannot thank them enough.
My friend was discharged by the consultant at the hospital saying he would make a referral to the Community Team - this he failed to do. A district nurse did the referral after 4 weeks and within days Sue came to visit Brenda. She was excellent - very patient, understanding and quickly assessed Brenda's needs. She listened intently to everything said to her and took her time to ensure She ordered a specialised bed and mattress, wheelchair and other items to help her. She put a package of care in place which involved the crisis team and organised medication required. Excellent care provided.
Continuous support and availability.
