All the hospice staff I dealt with (outpatient nurse, physio, counselling) have not only been very good at their jobs but they have all been very helpful and friendly. The hospice was a great environment for patients. I feel well cared for.
-It would better to have a system where when a call bell goes off other patients don't hear it. This disturbs sleep at night and during the day.
-The physio and dietitian have given me several good ideas which I will be able to use.
All the staff were very caring, professional and treated my mum with so much dignity.
They listened to our concerns and gave us a lot of info and support about our mum's condition. My mum was kept clean, calm and comfort with pain relief. The staff were attentive, informative and kind and showed my mum a lot of care. I felt safe leaving my mum here. I cannot fault anything :-).
Very caring and gentle staff.
I'm overwhelmed of the care my mum has received. The doctors and nurses could not be more helpful. Anything my mum required was given to her, what a lovely environment. Thank you St Joseph's. If I needed to come here in my life time I would not be scared.
The staff come on time when they can and sometimes they can't because of attending other things for the last two weeks. If possible if I can have medications on time.
I was treated with care and understanding.
