Disastrous organisation. Pre assessment a waste of time. Despite filling in forms, had to complete same at assessment and again on admission. No one passes information on. Can't even get basics right. Was asked how I wanted to be called. T hat was ignored. Frequently called, sweetie, luv, darling, or other forms of endearment. I was told, these are londonidms! Rubbish! You do not address someone you don't know with endearing terms. These are for people who know you well. How dare the staff feel I want to be endearing to them on first meeting. Totally disrespectful. Had to send food back more than once. Can't even get a sandwich right. Bread stale, filling dry and Chorley. Main meals had do much salt it was like eating brine. I thought a hospital at least would know the dangers of too much salt. Clearly not! When asking fir psi killers I was told I could have, I was told, you've been given too many already today. The reason given was because someone couldn't understand the doctors notes. Good job it wasn't a drug that could have caused major problems if overdosed. All in all this hospital needs a good shake up from top to bottom. I don't think they have even learned to walk yet but they are trying to run. The only saving grace was my surgeon and anaesthetist who were fantastic
