Really helped in terms of relaxation and lymphatic drainage. Also, in alleviation of post-chemo aches and pains.

To everyone in IPU, nurses doctors catering staff and volunteers.
There are no words that can express how thankful we are that he was at the hospice. The care and understanding shown by each and every one of you was amazing. It is a little unfair to single anyone but we would like to give special thanks to Samna and Cathy and HCA Jane.
Who were so lovely in his final days, not only to him but to myself the patients your support and care was above and beyond.

St Helena has helped me and my family out twice in two years. My dad and I when he was in your care. Now my son and I following the death of his father. Sue is amazing as is Linda. Fantastic service.

My clinical nurse specialist is Becky Rix who has been very caring and has been able to give me a lot of information, it is good to know Becky is just a phone call away this I find is very reassuring. I would advise anyone in my position to have a clinical nurse to talk to.

I was offered bereavement counseling 14 weeks after I lost my husband. By then I was getting stronger and coping better with my broken heart and sadness. However the counselor was very helpful and sympathetic, and offered me good advice to help further ease my pain, and also ideas to build a new life for myself. I like to thank her very much. I also like to thank St Helena hospice for the bereavement service and hope they will be able to offer a faster service to bereaved family and friends desperately in need of help.

The counselor I saw was the same person throughout which helped build trust and continuity. The environment was comfortable and felt safe. There was no time frame set which was important in making my needs feel individual to me and my personal circumstance.

The nurse we had assigned to us was with us the whole journey and nothing was ever to much trouble for her. She was professional and friendly and made us and one whole family feel valued.
Everyone at single point was so helpful from calling up on the phone to coming out when we needed you most. You allowed my husband to die with dignity in his own home which was what he wanted.
