I find the atmosphere at the day center relaxing, from the receptionists to the therapists and caring and friendly.
My grief counsellor, Rim lock, could not have given me more.
I do feel stronger now, having listened to her kind words of wisdom, encouragement and compassion.
I am very grateful to her and the hospice.

I arrived on the 23rd October in pain somewhat overwhelmed by the whole. Situation, the help, advice, care and medication has been the very best from every aspect of the center. I cannot fault the care that the hospice at home team gave to my husband.
They were kind, caring and compassionate. He was always treated with dignity and respect.
I am a senior nurse and thsi can sometimes make healthcare workers uncomfortable but I felt listened to and we worked collaboratively to give the patient excellent care that he deserved in his last days.
One of the community nurses who visited troubled me with comments about the hospice staff expecting 'her' to do the care! I thought that was why we were in the healthcare profession?
