The advanced nurse practitioner was very informative, I only wish my breast care nurse had given me information about the psychology service at Barts. I would have benefited from some of the workshops. Anne was very encouraging and enlightening I left feeling more confident and in control I plan to register with the Breast cancer Haven and Macmillan social prescribing. My suggestion to improve the service would be for the breast care nurses to talk (not just given a lot of written information most of it irrelevant) about the services that may potentially support patients along their cancer pathway.
