I was booked for MRI of my lower back. I experience numbness and constant pain down my left leg due to bulging disc L4/L5 (previously diagnosed). I currently have problems with mobility and walk with the crutch. I arrived a little bit earlier and as soon as I approached receptionist I was asked to come in. Did not need to wait at all. Receptionist took me to the changing room, explained what to do and where to go after. As I had MRI done twice before I was prepared already. The person who performed my MRI was this young, kind and very caring gentleman. I've asked to use the toilet before we start and he took me all the way there and assured there is no rush. When I came back, he took my jacket and a bag, and offered his arm for support. He helped me walk all the way to the room and even offered to take my shoes off. Due to my reduced mobility and constant pain he rearrange the bed for me, so I could feel more comfortable. He gave me 2 pillows and some support to go under my knees. He was extremely nice all the way. During the MRI he was asking if I'm ok several times. I was very, VERY impressed with the care I've received on that day. As I already mentioned, it wasn't first time I had MRI. But this time I felt very special, almost like I was in a private hospital. The service was great and I don't see any way you could make it better. If only every NHS employee would be so caring and understanding... Thank you once again to this young gentleman for an amazing care!
