The service that I was given was excellent the care I was given by Lisa Hall was great. She helped me with my issue and is friendly and reliable!
I am a patient with autism and anxiety so i was very anxious about the whole process however the nurses were fantastic and made me feel at ease right from training for the procedure to the care afterwards . The nurse is always available now after the surgery to talk to or ask questions and she has been amazing at helping me feel at ease with everything as my stoma has healed.
I am mainly suppooted by Carol but the whole team have been involved in my care and making the transition to use the stoma pouch and accessories. They have now set up the ordering with MediLink but have reassured me they are there for me and I can contact them should I have any worries or concerns. They are a wonderful and compassionate team.
Kate was fantastic, put me at ease instantly, full of knowledge.
The service I received has been excellent. On hand for support when I needed it and encouraged me to take positive steps to help my own recovery.
Completely happy with the care I have received.
Breege has been absolutely fantastic during this process. Very knowledgeable friendly and caring
The stoma team at Croydon hospital went over and above in helping source and get me essential colostomy and urostomy pouches. I had run out of my pouches and was in a real panic as my usual monthly order had been delayed by my stoma delivery company.
The care, understanding and support that the stoma nurses give is always fantastic and so gratefully appreciated.
Thank you so much.
The nurses Debbie and Bukky were absolutely lovely. Very friendly, informative and was happy to answer all of my questions and provide advice. They made me feel very comfortable.
All the stoma nurses from day one have been caring, professional and tactful. There is so much to take in in a relatively short space of time yet they managed to get the details across without being patronising. They also encouraged one not to be too overwhelmed by the experience. The balance of detached professionalism and personal care is not an easy one to achieve, yet they seemed to manage it making one feel confident in their expertise and a sense that they actually care.
