1. The underlying ethos is characterized by a tripartite partnership - physical/mental/spiritual - The medical and meal held together.
2. The whole family is drawn in gradually and all, if local, are treated by the nurse as partners rather than interested spectators.
3. The nurse is of course not just a medical figure but also a companion on the journey through perplexity and pain.
4. The relationship with the residential facility is not just for those who may be near the point of death but also supports the patient when a few days of respite are needed or intensive monitoring to provide data for treatment, assessment and adjusting medication.
Everything was extremely helpful about the care we received from you, and things we could not deal with you took on board, and made things easier for us which takes the stress of us.
It's very relaxing, a fantastic time out. It can not be improved. I see Sue for my therapy.
The care is very good nothing too much for the staff they're very friendly and easy to talk to. Our dad asked to go down to the Harbour so he could have an ice cream, the staff managed this in couple of days. They arranged the transport that was excellent, my child got his wish. Thank you. Nothing we would improve maybe a snack bar.
Someone always available to talk too and if help needed it is a very quick response. Very nice to have treatment at home as not always well enough to go to the hospice. Everyone very kind and caring, slso patient
I have received the best care and treatment possible.
Nothing is too much trouble for my nurse I have been treated with dignity and respect throughout. I can only say my nurse is worth her weight in gold. She is the very best.

My husband has lung cancer so it is good to have an hour away from the worries and stresses, away from home.
