Because I have no problem with the nurses and the care she was given it was the time it took to do things

That my wife has progressive Multiple Sclerosis and has a catheter bag and no strength in one of her arms and I was not allowed to stay with her in Majors B even though I am her carer and I told them she could not empty her own Catheter bag or lift her own drink up to drink it or eat and was told by the senior nurse that I would have to wait outside and one of the nurses can do it. When my wife asked that she needs her bag empty they had to come and find me, so I would like to see if your a carer for the person you should be able to stay with her and support her

Had to wait an exceptionally long time, over 2 hours. A nurse informed me that the doctor was delayed because he was reading patient notes. I was expecting to hear the results of my scan, which was done 2 months earlier, but was told that there might be a problem, which needs to be discussed. I cannot understand why this had not already been done. My previous visits to Queens Hospital were excellent.

I felt relaxed, safe and secure in the hands of all the staff attached to the department. The area was warm and welcoming. The staff were informative and cheerful, polite and well mannered.

Supplied tea and cake. (Joking) Everything was perfect for me.

Communication is poor from the nursing staff, no I formation provided throughout. None of the staff members including the doctors introduced themselves. Some of the nursing staff were arrogant in their approaches. No respect for patients or family members.

Some midwives were not helpful forcing my transfer to carol ward before I was ready, Found very unprofessional if I did not get such amazing care from Anne I would be upset.

Been given adequate after care with pain meds and at least 6 hours to recovery in comfort in my room after my major op.

Since I received all the necessary treatment why not tell you the truth, I said this answer I did want to be honest.

I would like the emergency department to be better, more specific when we are the emergency department for children, I know it is not part of this form, but since I have the opportunity to express what worried me.
