I found the night staff quite intimidating!
I was like a scared to buzz as they were rude and offish . Luckily I was able to get out of bed myself as I didn’t see anyone for hours .
I have found this in most hospitals which really lets them down .
The day staff are so lovely and helpful !
We need access to the garden for more than 5-10 min every one h. Many of the staff are very rude and not professional. Maybe we are mental health and the staff don’t need treat us like”animals”the data of protection not exist staff sharing information of front of us. They not supporting us they just let us more low.sorry at day staff tired, at night no one checking that we are still alive become staff sleeping. They are many of rud staff , sometimes I think that they not need help? We not need to hear the NHS not pay them enough .
terrible and incompetent people working in such an important position as human life, lack of communication between the team, Aggressive staff, limiting access to food and air, "0" support is violence and aggression from the staff, toast for breakfast, toast for lunch, toast for dinner - toast at 8 p.m., really? why don't we have access to meals like in the hospital? why is there only 3 sandwiches for dinner and people go hunting first, shame on you!
aggressive behavior of the staff, intimidation of not everyone and a nervous atmosphere have a very negative impact on my well-being and that of other patients
Excellent staff, very attentive and caring. They made it easier for me during one of the difficult times of my life. I’m forever grateful for the care I have received from Dr.Louis and his team, staff nurses and supporting workers.
Very Good Hospital
Although the care was generally ok. I found that sometimes I would request something and it wouldn’t appear. Maybe communication needs to improve.
Some nurses were excellent others not so much.
I find it odd being in for 5 days I was only asked once if I wanted a wash. I also fell whilst there and broke my wrist Breakfast was put in front of me but no help offered to open the jam or butter the toast etc.
Some nurses don’t seem to notice what needs doing. I know that it’s difficult working in the nhs, but
as a nurse you should be aware of patients individual needs.
Aggie and Sue were brilliant
The food was really bad. Breakfast was fine, but apart from that dreadful. Food was often cold vegetables really over cooked I opted for rice pudding one day Couldn’t eat it as it tasted of plastic.
Again no one questioned why the food was left uneaten . There must be tons of food thrown away. When you’ve had surgery you need nutrition to build up again but the hospital food won’t provide that.
Coffee was awful.
To help
I find that all the staff are caring to our needs and supportive.
Yes really safe with staff and with the oxi health and staff personnel cameras.
