The midwives and the doctors are superb in the labor/ delivery suites. Everything was done on time and continuous monitoring was done of the baby and myself. Facilities were neat and clean. It was quite a homely and friendly environment. Thank you Busola. Can't think of anything to improve my experience. Probably the room temperature was a little low for its even after adjustment of thermostat. This is a very minor thing. We loved the experience.

Barking birth centre service received was excellent from the outset. The midwives available were extremely helpful and empathetic to my wife. This is in stark contrast to the treatment we had received at Newhorn General Hospital maternity services where the midwife who assessed my wife was not clear, informative or professional causing unnecessary distress to an already challenging scenario for a laboring mother. I would not recommend Newham General Hospital but would definitely recommend Barking Birth Centre.

Midwives have been really good at caring and discussing issues if any - however, at the start of pregnancy there were sometimes when a bit of more organisation and information about plan of appointments would have helped otherwise it's been very good.

The care that was provided by the midwife Habibatu Halidu was exceptional and she did a great job in looking after me at first then when my baby came, she did even better. Many thanks to Habibatu.
