Barking birth centre service received was excellent from the outset. The midwives available were extremely helpful and empathetic to my wife. This is in stark contrast to the treatment we had received at Newhorn General Hospital maternity services where the midwife who assessed my wife was not clear, informative or professional causing unnecessary distress to an already challenging scenario for a laboring mother. I would not recommend Newham General Hospital but would definitely recommend Barking Birth Centre.
