Louise Turner was so helpful, polite and careing, she gave us a lot of information and help that we was unaware of, couldn't have asked for more

I asked for advice regarding leakages and was given a new system to try with convex stoma bags. I found them uncomfortable and it soon pealed off. To be fair I was advised there are other bags I could try if these didn’t work so I am not criticising the stoma Nurse, it was worth a try. I think I will stick to my existing bags for now as they are comfortable and be more careful about using them.

Louise was both friendly and very professional. She identified an area of sore skin (of which I was not aware) and treated and dressed it appropriately and will return in 4 weeks to assess progress. It was clear that she was very well versed in the treatment of stomas/patients and acutely aware of the difficulties faced in the course of day-to-day life. An excellent stoma nurse. Mike McNamara
