Today we met Louise (17/03/2022), I am a full time carer for my 81yr old mum who apart from having a stoma, also has chronic kidney disease & has suffered a heart attack & has Alzheimer’s, so you can see I have my work cut out. My mum has been having lots of problems lately with her stoma leaking, Louise asked if we’d mind her taking a look, she was shocked to see how the urine was collecting in the base plate area and not flowing freely into the bag. She measured mums stoma ( which has altered slightly in size) and is going to try her with a new type of bag ( she has classed it as urgent).We found Louise to be very compassionate and felt she was really doing her best to help us. We are now waiting in anticipation for the new bags.

Suggested improvements
Louise couldn’t have done any more, she was kind, explained everything, and was very helpful, she said she would be on the other end of the phone whenever we need her.
