I remembered Michaela from a few years ago. She is very knowledgeable and at no point during this appointment did I feel uncomfortable. She shows understanding of how I manage my stoma and provides useful advice.

I was nervous about the video chat and about showing my stoma. Michaela made me feel comfortable and at ease. I didn't feel any pressure to show my body and am glad I did. I felt it helped me, and a great relief to find out everything was looking good/ healthy.

Suggested improvements
I would opt for a video call via a laptop next time, using my phone ( my choice) wasn't easy.

Over the years I have been using NAMS I have always, without exception, received all the help I have needed and have always been treated with kindness and respect by everyone. Today I have had a long appointment with Andy Bird who has been exceptionally helpful and kind and discussing the different products with me to help me find the products which will help me.

My stoma sits directly on my preferred belt line, I understand from Andrew that there was an option to place stoma more favourably, but it's water under the bridge.

Suggested improvements
I don't think the service I received could be improved, other than a warning that the clinician will want to see the stoma allowing patient to clean up prior to examination.
