However, discharge time was rather long (I understand that there are fewer doctors at weekend, for this)

Extremely helpful and friendly staff who made me much comfortable about my stay in hospital. The only issue I had was not being able to sleep due to the loudness of my ward but once I explained this to staff the very kindly arranged to move me onto a quiet ward which was a big relief.
