Wow.
I certainly wasn't expecting the superb service I had yesterday at The Hearing & Balance Centre, Brotherton Wing at the LGI. Vicki Maher went out of her way to explain my results regarding a recent hearing test, what the options were moving on from them, and then explaining the hearing aid option, how it worked, and what they would do to improve my tinnitus condition symptoms.
Vicki was professional, respectful, friendly and sympathetic throughout the session. She put my mind at rest and allayed my concerns. She, as others recently in my experience with the NHS, is a credit to her profession. Sincere thanks for a great experience. Service like this deserves recognition..

I forgot to complete the questionnaire - hence the on-line reply. On the questionnaire which was handed to me the names Paul and Rachel were written on thr form.
Paul and Rachel were excellent. I was nervous and worried about what was going to happen but in no time at all I was relaxed and felt I was being looked after by two experienced, professional people.
When I left to rest for a few minutes in the 'Waiting area' Rachel came to check I was OK.
In the past few years I have received an excellent service from the NHS.
Many thanks.
L36 Postnatal ward (0994). Level of care and support was fantastic. They were all really helpful and helped me get discharged efficiently so that I wasn't away from my eldest child too long. They were really strict with visiting hours which was great as this didn't happen when I had my first child.
All staff very friendly and keen to help. Handshakes very welcome. The appointment was on time. The Doctor was keen, interested, helpful and boosted my morale. Advice offered was excellent. (Dr L K Knight). I was impressed with the overall atmosphere of calm and professionalism.
Following two falls and a trip to Casualty at the LGI! I attended Cardiology for an ICD review. I was attended by Lyndsey and Annabel and have to say that both staff were knowledgeable, efficient and gave me full reassurance about the condition of my ICD.
I would strongly recommend your services.
I attended Casualty at the LGI twice recently, once for a bleed and once following a fall.
These were my first encounters of staff at LGI and I have to report in all honesty, that the way in which I was treated was of an extremely high standard.
I would formally request that my comments and thanks be passed on to the staff teams involved as I feel they are very efficient, effective and reassuring.
Gave lots of great advice.
No improvement. Good in everything.
Listened, helpful and great advice.
