My wife and I bought our daughter and her boyfriend to KGH with head injuries following an assault. We had to wait about 4 hours to see a doctor who just gave them pain killers and a card with basic information on it. It wasn't a busy night (I.E- No ambulances arrived and their was only about 11 people in the waiting area while we were their). We arrived just after midnight and was their until about 430AM. The staff were OK but you could do with extra staff on duty at night to help speed things up. Police were also called to the assault. Obviously my wife and I are still keeping an eye on our daughter and her boyfriend as they both had head injuries. I'm hoping that the staffing situation at night will improve soon.

excellent treatment

was treated by helpful, considerate staff, everything was explained, and I was shown what the doctor was talking about on the monitor. My only concern is that my follow up appointment is for over 3 months, which will mean the scan wont be relevent. when i said this to the doctor he has advised me to call to see if i can get an earlier follow up.

i am usually very nervous about coming to hospitals but the staff made this visit alright for me i was not nervous at all once i got to the right place
