Good points: - friendly receptionist and admin team - short waiting time Bad points: - clinic run down, paint peeling off, old carpet, small corridors etc - very old looking treatment equipment, chair very uncomfortable and without a cover (I hope it is being cleaned between patients!) I went for wax removal. Dr Brookes was very rough when doing the procedure. I showed clear signs of discomfort (moaning etc) but he did not respond initially. I had to tell him explicitly that his intervention hurt a lot as he tried to remove wax when it had not softened enough. Dr Brookes then added drops again and waited a few minutes longer and it was much easier. Why not do this in the first place? Dr Brookes did not show any empathy and did not explain matters well. I paid £490 in total for 20 min simple wax removal! I am sure one can get this cheaper somewhere else, in particular as the whole service experience was very unpleasant on top!

I have been so frustrated by my experience that in the end, I have decided to write a review.  I have come to the clinic several times to be seen by Dr Shaida since spring 2021, in the last few weeks particularly due to a hearing condition. The service provided by the staff in reception and the appointment booking room (all of them) is always unhelpful, unfriendly and unwelcoming. As patients that come here with issues and health problems I believe we deserve to be treated in a different and more humane way, especially considering the cost of each treatment. Bedside manner exists very little here. The nurses on the treatment and audiology floors are a little bit more friendly, but still have a lot of room to improve in being more caring to patients. As just one example my last ear treatment involved a 20-minute wait to be effective which involved laying quietly and still. The Doctor and nurses disappeared for good and left work, being late afternoon. They left me raised on a treatment chair where I couldn’t get down without assistance. Luckily another specialist came into that room to collect something and he kindly helped me get down. Completely unacceptable. I am not questioning the doctor's knowledge and the treatments provided but the staff in the clinic including reception, booking team, nurses and docs need a training course on bedside manner, courtesy and customer relations.

Service quality certainly not worth the money. I went there for a diagnosis hoping to continue with treatment, but never returned. Preferred NHS instead. Service quality is similar but costs a fortune.

I was not listened to and my problem was not solved even though I spent a fortune on different "tests". Does "digital trauma" mean I pick my nose? How rude. I also had to go back to their clinic the next day even though I was unwell because the administration office did not process my charges properly

This was the first time I attended Harley Street ENT Clinic. Mr Fairley was recommended by BUPA and I was pleased with their choice. The Harley St. ENT Clinic was clean and very efficient.

Being a private clinic you would have expected a good service, but not once have I been offered a coffee whilst waiting. The Specialists Sound booth did not work so it was held with the door open and myself having to raise my hand when I heard the tones. The efficiency of getting a Hearing aid is a laugh.....I get different stories every day on where it is...and continuos days of delays .....At the price they charge you would have thought they would use couriers with tracking. My advice is go to one of the High Street retailers, far more courteous and know deliver to promises
