I thought I would give counselling a try.
It really helped me unlock some feelings I was holding in and gave me a space to talk about I was coping.
The guidance given was invaluable. Thank you.

The staff who took part in the session's were compassionate, professional & sensitive to our plight. Information was presented in a relaxed and easy way. The relaxation was very useful and i am using the technique's.
Also coming to the venue 6 times made me less afraid of the word hospice.
Suggested improvements
Possible to encourage us to talk more about positive aspects of our lives before facing the future with a cancer diagnosis . this is meant as a positive not a negative criticism

The service was at a pace that suited my needs never rushed or cut short.
I was made to feel secure and in a safe confidential place.
I felt the sessions were tailored to my individual needs.
With each session I believed I improved I do not believe I would have achieved the result without the help. I am and always will be grateful.

Conversations always felt personal and always felt listened too. Challenged feelings to encourage deeper self reflection.

Could have a digital sign in register.
