The staff on the day were courteous and helpful however since the appointment in April and in spite of calling in person about an appointment for treatment I have heard nothing. It’s now almost July. As it happens my wife had the same problem. Unanswered phone calls to the designated numbers. It’s information I’m talking about. Can you help or will this appeal go to some unattended mail box.

The dermatology admin team do not pick up any phonecalls nor do they reply to emails. I've seen a serious decline in quality of customer care from the admin team that are supposed to respond. I had an emergency and called over 50 times and the call rang through every time - they seem to be just ignoring calls full stop. This wasn't the case with the previous admin team in place last year who despite being busy and understaffed, actually picked up the phone. Awful awful experience which needs to be escalated.

On 13 May, my family and I had an appointment at the hospital. Aileen and Beck were very helpful and supportive throughout the entire process. They treated us with kindness and respect, answered our questions clearly, and made sure everything went smoothly. I’m grateful to finally be seen after a long wait of ~6 months of suffering with these symptoms, but the appointment was very rushed and I could tell the doctor was anxious for me to leave so they could try to keep on schedule.
- A longer appointment, and/or a form or lists of prompts for patients to complete beforehand, in order to make the best use of the limited appointment time. Ideally the doctor would have a chance to review the info before meeting but if not, at least standardised points would help to identify relevant information
