I was offered advice and support tailored to my changing needs. I had weekly contact with a specialist but was able to make contact at any time if required further advice. The specialist was professional and took a genuine interest in my particular needs and doing everything they could to put processes in place to aid my recovery. I believe the help and support I received was essential in achieving the transition from using the liquid protein feed to a normal oral diet.

My experience for physio at Highfield following a partial knee replacement was excellent. Everything was explained to me by the physio Aaron who went through all the exercises I had been given to do at home to make sure I was doing them correctly. He gave me confidence to progress to doing things home which I had been nervous about (eg getting and out of the bath!}. This was all followed up 4 weeks later with a phone call from him to check on my progress.

You cannot improve on perfection! My only problem was with the very first appointment being over the phone as physio over the phone doesn't really work. I felt much happier when I had seen a 'real person' but I do understand that with the Covid restrictions this is not always possible.

My physiotherapist was excellent, he listened carefully to my requirements, and didn't try to push me beyond my capabilities. He created new exercise routines that were strenuous but achievable. Also, a good listener.

I felt completely listened to, and felt that the advice and future steps needed to be taken were perfect for my situation, I felt respected and genuinely thought of as needing help, and sometimes with over the phone appointments, that level of understanding can be lost in communication, The lovely doctor/nurse was even able to explain how certain processes will work going forward (as this is my first time needing this level of care), which helped with my general anxiety of the situation overall, as normally phone calls can be quite daunting for me. I would 100% recommend the service provided for me today, wonderful staff. *PLEASE NOTE the last three questions weren’t really that applicable to myself, which is why i’ve scored it down the middle*
