Staff in the endoscopy unit were amazing, going above and beyond to ensure patients felt safe and comfortable whilst in their care. They explained the procedure thoroughly, guiding me through it as well as any risks or complications enabling me to make an effective informed decision. They treated everyone with respect and dignity at all times, can not rate highly enough.

Routine colonoscopy usually performed by leighton crewe was relocated to halton and I found the staff very friendly and considerate, instead of waiting on chairs the recovery bed was allocated straight away and used for changing, canulation, signature and waiting. Very comfortable, then tranferred to procedure room. Constant reassurance and information from consultant. Pain free and not cold. return to recovery for tea and biscuit, results paperwork and I left with a smile. This was my 4th colon investigation and the best, thankyou.

I thoroughly commend the endoscopy unit at Halton General. All the staff were friendly and put me completely at my ease. The procedure was thoroughly explained and the atmosphere throughout was calming and professional. Everything was clearly explained throughout the procedure

At every stage everyone was friendly, gave me any information and help that I needed the procedure itself was handled sensitively and in a way that made me feel totally relaxed.

The staff were highly professional but went above and beyond to show concern and kindness to each patient making the whole experience as stress free as possible. The working atmosphere was exemplary.

I had an endoscopy,not the easiest of procedures,however I was treated kindly by everyone and I understood the outcome of the procedure when it was explained to me.

Staff were excellent, they treated me with dignity at all times, they were kind, friendly, knowledgeable and professional and approachable.The ward was clean and tidy, if friends or family had to go to this ward I would tell them not to worry and they would be in safe capable hands.

From the reception staff to the consultant and nurses the care was excellent and informative they explained everything they were doing throughout

Totally professional service. Dealt with ahead of appointment time. Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Everything was explained to me clearly and in an approachable manner. Whilst I was a little anxious (this being my first time), I was put at ease by all and this made the procedure easier. I was able to watch the procedure as it was being done and I was given a full report with photos. I was also given notes and leaflets of what to expect in the days/weeks following. Nothing could be improved in my opinion. Excellent work all.
