The overall standard of the Fitzwilliam hospital is very high. Rooms are very clean and extremely comfortable, and everything to do with my operation was handled most professionally and efficiently. I was an NHS patient, and I cannot imagine that I would have had better treatment anywhere else in the country. Perhaps the biggest strength is the staff. They were overwhelmingly friendly, and seemed to understand patients' concerns very well, something which is just so important.
