My mother was taken to A & E on 6th Sept and was not asked for urine sample, only blood. She was severely dehydrated as she had been sick for 12 hours. Saline drip Given then at 1:45am she was discharged. No pills. Next day mother was still vomiting in pain same symptoms as night before. Called her GP and he felt that it was a failed discharge. Called 999. Excellent service. Went back and new sister took Urine sample. Doctor saw her and told her she was suffering from a bad bout of diverticulitis. Antibiotics and saline drip administered. Left at 2:30 in the morning. Told there were no beds. Treating a 89 year old at that time of night took the guts out of Mum and she is still slowly recovering. The staff were very kind and took care of her and apologied that they could not keep her in.

I came in for an appointment, was seen almost and hour and a half after this time. Reception did not help with my time enquiry just replied "well it's busy it's a hospital" the Dr I saw for my swollen eye asked more questions about my previous pregnancy and the current one more than questions about my eye with barely an exam taking place (around 2m away).

I've had Reumatoid Arthritis for a long time . The reason I used the service was for a different matter.

I didn't realise I'd be waiting two and a half hours After my appointment time .

The appointment was made for my daughter in law who is Australian and was staying with us with my son for a family visit. She had become very unwell with tonsillitis and needed treatment. The staff from the 111 team treated her with kindness and were pleasant. The staff in the urgent care centre were fabulous, explaining the system here and gave her excellent treatment and advice. The centre was very busy but the staff kept smiling and pleasantly chatting to patients, reassuring young parents there with babies and children. Thank you so much for your care.

Nothing - the centre was busy which meant we were seen an hour after appointment time but we were grateful to be given an out of hours appointment.
