I got to my appointment and was told they was behind so my appointment wasn’t there anymore and that I just had to wait my turn and there was one doctor on duty and my appointment was at 22:45 and there was patients who hadn’t even been seen who had there appointments at 7:00
The staff are fantastic the doctor was 10/10
But having to book in at A&E when been told you’ve been already by a doctor on the phone
Is just time wasting & holding some other patient
Up that is trying to book in.
I came in and was told gastro problems next day I went jaundice came scunthorpe hospital and bloody straight away problem with my liver and gallstones
I explained to the doctor that I'd visited earlier in the week and I was told to return if symptoms returned or got worse. I'd also called 111 and was given an appointment to go. The doctor was rude and couldn't have cared less about my symptoms or condition. His exact words were what do you expect me to do, go see your GP next week. Totally unacceptable.
As soon as I walked into the reception area I felt like I was going to be treated properly, it was a very pleasant and professional environment.
111 was the hardest part - lengthy tick ✅ box.
Treatment was excellent and not a long wait.
Receptionist lady was lovely and couldn’t reassure me enough when I thought I was wasting nhs time, when I didn’t really have any other option as me being ill During the night. Doctor was nice and I didn’t wait too long either.
I have acute pain at my lower side of the back due to arthritis
Excellent response to my problem which was causing increased difficulty for me to function.
Barely spoke to me just ran tests without telling me. Told me there was nothing wrong with me when there once and I ended up on antibiotics prescribed by my GP a couple days later
