Appointment was made for 3.30 am but not seen until after 4.15 am I feel the 2 receptionists on duty could have kept me informed of the progress When I did see the doctor I was impressed with his examination and treatment

I was basically asked what I expected from them! 4 days later I was sent straight to Barnsley hospital A&E from my GP for the infected cyst removing and an abscess draining in same day urgent surgery department.

More time and care, I am not a regular at hospital I very rarely use the nhs, so when I go, it’s because I’m desperate and need help. I did not get this from Doncaster unfortunately.

Used this service before and always reviewed prompt and efficient care. This time I was made to wait over 45minutes for my appointment which I arrived to on time. People whose appointment was after my allotted time was seen before me. I had to ask the receptionist three times if myself and my daughter was definitely checked in. After 35 minutes of waiting I was then finally moved to the correct area which was empty to be told to wait there My daughter was then seen We were then told to wait outside again to then be called back into the same doctor for my appointment when I checked we were both with the same clinician anyway before hand. Overall not impressed with this service on this occasion. Working within the NHS myself this is lot the service I know the NHS strives to deliver. Extremely disappointed on this occasion unfortunately.

My tooth has disintegrated two hours after being seen by a dentist.

I'm stuck over Christmas with a stump of a tooth and the filling lasted 3 hours. I'm an electrician I'm sure my customers would understand it their premises burnt to the ground in 3 hours after I finished my work.

It is nice to be seen out of normal surgery hours. My Doctors wanted me to go to A&E but I refused to do This when they are stretched to the limit at the moment for some condition which is not life threatening and it would be Russian Roulette if you Tried to get an appointment the next day by ringing at 8.00am as you are in a queue for ages only to be told all appointments have been taken. Very frustrating indeed!! As for my experience I couldn’t be more satisfied. Thank you and a Merry Christmas !!

Treated with respect and speed

Referred to see a surgeon asap which UCT sorted but the hospital ignored and I had to wait 4 hours at the an and e sept. The urgent treatment nurse and doctor tried to intervene with Doncaster hospital but staff wouldn’t listen and said they had their procedure s and urgent care did not usurp them And refused access to the surgeon even thou the urgent care team had spoken to him on the phone ! They tried their very best to sort things but the hospital staff remained resolute, eventually I was seen 4 hours late ! …well done urgent care and I have nothing but praise for the staff , the issue with the hospital needs sorting .
