Urgent care extremely busy 2 hours waiting time.patients sent from A&E to urgent care

Could have been notified beforehand if waiting time this long when given appt

Although the doctor I saw in the urgent care centre was really good I had an appointment at 11pm and there was a 2 hour delay. He said I needed to be admitted and rang the ward who said I needed to go via A and E. I then waited a further 3and a half hours to see someone. I then saw 2 more doctors who decided I needed to be admitted then it was hours before I ended up in the medical unit on chair 13. Not a bed. I eventually got a bed Mon lunchtime and my condition was worse

The ward should have taken notice of the doctor in the urgent care unit and admitted me via him , not make me wait in A and E for 3 and a half hours and then some to end up in the same ward

Because i have several outstanding health conditions

I did not need to go to A&E, i just needed an out of hours appointment

I was called and treated on time as my appointment was scheduled and the nurse and the doctor who attended to me were very kind and patient to exam me with care that led to a diagnosis that saved me.

Because this was asked but made little difference to the time taken to be seen

When completed the initial call it was deemed to be seen within 2 hours this didn’t happen it was 5 hours plus and then had to go to dri out of hours instead of cavendish court. Then had to wait another hour there! Prescription received but No pharmacy locally or near the hospital open had to look up where one was open and then a family member had to go back out to get the medication prescribed ! All in all typically poor quality of service and untimely delivery of care
