UTC care absolutely fantastic when I bought my daughter in with glandular fever symptoms which was later confirmed as positive. The doctor took us a family through to A&E personally, which is where we were unfortunately waiting while she was in pain to see a further doctor who could prescribe the medication through her cannular.

Absolutely nothing we arrived about 4 am Thursday morning 6th July and the doctor was lovely he was very reassuring with my daughter.

From the moment I arrived with a short wait the gp who I saw was very friendly and professional.The doctor even took me round to a&e in a wheelchair and booked me in to be seen urgently.I couldn’t praise the service enough on this day.

Both the nurses that dealt with me, on both days were brilliant. Thank you.

Tell parents to keep their children under control. One child was allowed to use the water fountain continuously, using in excess of 15 cups and in the process spilling water all over the floor, which the mother then finished off a box of tissues, left on the side of reception to mop it up. This waste of resources went unchallenged by the staff, in this era of NHS shortages!

Train your reception staff to talk to people with respect, then maybe you won’t need to have signs up about abuse.
