You’re asking me to complete a survey for a service I never received!!!! I needed daily, every other day dressing changes and OOH never called me back as I was, quote “not a priority”. Despite myself and my GP attempting to secure me an appointment and being told I would have no issues, I did not get an appointment or a call back!! I then called 111 and told I had to wait up to 12 hours. Lo and behold, I woke up to a missed call at gone 12.30am. I am on Co-codamol of an evening to help with the pain. There was no way I was awake or able to have gone anywhere!! The whole experience from having my minor op has been a shambles. Twice I and my GP have been left speechless that I was told I wasn’t their problem any more (ESACs - even though they said if I got really stuck in getting an appointment they would help), and OOH’s! My GP nurses have been amazing and done everything they can to help me.

If you tell someone they must have daily dressings, you make the appointments there and then. Don’t rob it off to all the other services to pick up because you know it’s too difficult. Re-dress your priorities as although not necessarily dying, it was a 10 minute job that has left me exposed to risk of re-infection. Completely counter productive on the healthcare system as I’ll only have to come back and do it all again! Stop fobbing people off and being so blatant in me not being someone’s problem or that I don’t matter!!!

High blood pressure and oedema not listed above - under vascular consultant: currently compression sock and blood pressure medication management

Better structural questions from the assessment call centre handlers rather than a generic template where a yes / no answer can make all the difference between wasting ambulance crew time better placed elsewhere and arranging for emergency doctor appointment at walk in centre at Cavendish House as I knew I would be OK with antibiotics with the community gp unable to offer a doctor call back and appointment for the following day

EXEMPLARY care throughout my whole stay. Admitted to a ward later & required surgery. Discharged home Monday am. I can’t fault the whole process from junior to senior staff. I worked for the Trust before retiring 5 years ago :) VERY PROUD of our NHS

The NHS is under pressure but the staff are our lifeline and I support them 100percent the experience was frightening for me but even under pressure they delivered ....well done and thank you.

My experience could have been better

Was informed by 111 to attend the Urgent care centre and was informed we can be put in an isolation room as i tested positive with covid. Instead they made us wait outside the entrance for over an hour and they would call us when it was my turn. The doctor was not that much of a help/didn’t do much checks on me. Kept on going in and out of the room to ask her boss for information

I was assessed by a doctor quickly and given the correct treatment. The staff were friendly and I was made to feel at ease. This is the first time I have used the urgent care service and I am very grateful and happy with the service.

I couldn’t have asked for a better service
