I brought my 10 month old son to be seen after previous been hospitalised on IV antibiotics the previous week.
Appointents we’re running 2 hours over, which I understand and appreciate it was a busy time.
I am really not happy that false information was recorded on his medical history and was only changed as I questioned it.
When taking his initial observations, the nurse/HCA only took his temperature, but falsely recorded values for heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation etc. I noticed this in the consult room when with the doctor. I made the doctor aware, and he repeated them. They were all ok, but the previous week his O2 sats were 88%. So this could have been a very different story. The doctors are working off the values inputted.
The dr we saw was kind and compassionate with my son, we were seen in a timely manner and everything that was going to happen was explained in an age appropriate way to my 10th at old.
Could not fault the service and care I received and received medication promptly to treat my illness.
S
Because they were very polite and helpful
Na
I recieved prompt caring service. I was listened to and had all the plans explained to me.
Was seen very quickly by a healthcare (couldnt remember her name but she had long hair in two braids) for blood pressure check etc. Then waited back in the waiting room and was called in quickly by the doctor (again not sure of the name but he was in red scrubs?). Was all quick and efficient.
I went with an ear infection
The receptionist kept us up to date on waiting times and apologised for the length of it explained the service was busy that day.
The dr I saw was very respectful, listened to my symptoms and made examined me accordingly, and arranged follow up blood tests with my gp.
