Good service, seen quickly by urgent care but of a delay at being seen on the ward

111 were very thorough on the phone with me and got me an appointment within an hour at the urgent treatment centre. However when I arrived, there were already 6 patients waiting and one had been waiting an hour. We were not informed of waiting times or how many doctors were on duty. I sat there for over 2 hours before being seen. I appreciate that there is a shortage of staff, but I think a bit more communication to us would’ve been better. Especially at the late hour (my appointment was 23:15 and I wasn’t seen until 01:05) The staff I spoke to and were seen by though were all professional, calm and polite though and I can imagine it is a very difficult job to do.

The doctor was very caring and tried to push me to go for an earlier appointment. I needed a later appointment due to childcare etc but he was very caring which you don't see that often. He's a credit to your service. The ca back time frame was also very quick
