I was nervous and scared as I wasn’t able to have anyone with me and the receptionist really put me at ease and made sure I was ok, while I waited to see the doctor the doctor when I saw him was kind and referred me straight round to A&E where the communication between UTC and A&E was amazing so I didn’t have to keep repeating things when I felt unwell as it was Ps. Please thank the receptionist who probably gets overlooked but is holding it all together !

I don't think anything could of been better. Staff where polite. Dr was kind and understanding. He explain everything very clearly so I knew what was wrong and what would happen next.

Because on arrival at dri I was being booked in after email was sent from out of hours service she told them that she was in extreme pain and her leg was numb she was then told to go to waiting area we said there are no seats well she will have to STAND in que we told them she can't stand her leg is numb we were told we need to be able to book people in so you need to go to waiting area i said again she can't stand up and there are no seats so I helped her up and helped her to wall and sat her on floor and at that another patient saw what was happening and gave up his chair which were not 2mts apart

listen to what you were told by the patient and think about what you say before you say it Show respect and not distaine for the person who is in pain and worried THE ATTITUDE WAS DISGUSTING

Because I have always been fairly fit

Possibly have my medical notes at hand, spent a lot of time explaining what operation I have had, obviously I could not explain as well as my medical notes would have as I’m not a doctor.

I suffer with Darier’s disease, a rare skin condition which makes the skin very prone to rashes, blisters, and infections.

I was sent to the urgent treatment centre from A&E and they weren’t able to help me at all. They had no dressings and no way of even making a diagnosis of what is causing the weeping sore on the back of my left thigh. I was sent back to my GP despite the sore soaking through dressings and causing great pain.

The dr I saw was lovely very understanding and was an absolute pleasure to see and speak to. I was seen promptly without waiting long. The dr explained I'm great detail what needed to be said I left not having any questions unanswered.
