After waiting 5 hours for a call back then waiting in the a&e car park for 2 1/2 hours for them to phone me and say that they didn’t have the equipment to treat me after the doctor just wanted my chest listening to before prescribed steroids and oxygen level taken as I had tested positive for COVID and needed them to protect my chest to be told I had to go into a&e which was very busy I went home so no they did not help at all

The doctor I saw was fantastic however the receptionist was unprofessional and also something she did was bang out of order

Tell the receptionist to wear her mask and not keep wondering around the waiting area the plastic on the counter is to protect her and patients Tell her not to answer her mobile phone in the waiting area and have it on silent poorly people don't want to listen to big girls are beautiful And finally Tell her when someone she knows comes to the department not to push them in when they get there especially when there's a waiting room full who have been sat there 3 hours because that's what she did

Long waits, sent home without any proper tests, still unwell and deteriorated.

Had seating available in a and e, priopitisied sicker pts, not just sent people to UTC who needed a and e

Nothing urgent about the place I had an appointment but yet wasn’t seen til 2 hours after my appointment time

Not keep telling me I was next then calling in other people

What does this mean? This is a poorly designed questionnaire.

Everything could have been better. The appointment time was meaningless. It was nominally 2:30pm by 3:30 nothing had happened. The time was a deceitful lie. I eventually left without being seen. The most worrying thing was when a new patient arrived with obvious symptoms of Covid-19, who was told to sit amongst others in the waiting area. He was treated badly by the receptionist. He should not have been seen in such a place. Surely, there is a separate route for suspected Covid-19 patients? All in all, appalling.
