The Dr kept me waiting for over an hour and I ended up seeing the nurse who said there was nothing wrong but seeing the emergency Dr a day later 8 was given antibiotics for a throat infection.

I was let down by my own GP needed to be seen urgent due to severe pain. I’m awaiting an operation for tumour removal. Needed pain medication. Refused GP appointment. So rang same day GP at Doncaster. Got an appointment the same day. The doctor I saw and nurse were absolutely fantastic professional. Rang Sheffield to check medical details. Further examination face to face. And medication given. Absolutely professional. Big thanks. Just a note I have not seen my own GP once f to f since before and after diagnosis. I feel I have been let down greatly by my GP practice. I no things are difficult in primary care but to be so seriously ill and input from GP is poor.

Because I don’t have any of the conditions listed. I do have diverticulitis and was displaying mild symptoms of the condition which was the reason for my visit.

Overall my experience was good and the Doctor who helped me was excellent. However, one part of my experience in the health centre that I think is very bad and needs addressing is when trying to check in at reception, it was difficult to make myself heard despite temporarily removing my mask. The receptionist repeatedly asked me for my details telling me to speak louder. This resulted in me having to loudly repeat all my personal details in a reception full of patients that have no right to hear them. Can you please install a system where patients can speak in privacy with the receptionist?

I never saw a doctor , it was a nurse. I was told on the phone I would be seeing a gp

The nurse I saw was very difficult to understand and she dint understand what I was saying I had to repeat myself. She did not take my concerns seriously !
