Very easy to use the service, far easier than getting to see my own gp . Very timely service, I was waiting less than 5 mins once checked in.

The nurse in reception not laughing and making a joke of my surname and Mis pronouncing it over and over again laughing each time Everything else was exceptional the ladies in a&e reception and same day service reception were lovely and so was the dr he was outstanding

I was very ill and dizzy. I was offer an appointment, however, later that day, and before my appointment, I cancelled the appointment as I felt too ill and unsafe to drive. My initial contact was very positive. Moreover, the receptionist was equally understanding and empathetic when I cancelled. Thank you, a positive and reassuring experience.

I attended an appointment asking to try some morphine patches as I was in severe pain due to my chronic health condition flaring up. I had an appointment with my consultant in 2 days time and the pain relief I take daily wasn’t helping the pain that was worsened by the flare up. I asked to try morphine patches to help me get by until my appointment at the hospital to try and avoid needing to go into hospital for pain relief as I have children at home and a low immune system so wanted to avoid hospital. The doctor although kind said he couldn’t prescribe me morphine patches or anything stronger than I was already taking ( cocodomol and naproxen) he insisted I needed to go to accident and emergency department at Doncaster royal infirmary. I explained I was in too much pain to sit for house waiting in ane and all I needed was some short term pain relief . He insisted I must go and telephoned the a and e department on the telephone. He told me to go to ane and hand them a note he had written and he told me he promised I wouldn’t have to wait and I would be seen immediately. He said he had spoken to the registrar and they promised him I would be seen straight away . I went reluctantly but desperate for pain relief the pain. I was sat waiting for 40 minutes then asked how much longer I would be and they said at least 4 hours so I left in pain but I couldn’t wait that long . So completely wasted my time and put me through struggling to get firstly to the doctors then to ane. Went home and rang my own doctors who prescribed morphine patches the next day . I will be very reluctant to use this service again . I think doctors should be able to help patients to avoid making ane extra busy when there is just no need

Clearly had tonsillitis but because I didn’t have a temp she wouldn’t give me any antibiotics because and I quote You have to have a temp for me to prescribe antibiotics or I will get in trouble.

Let me see an actual dr??
