I’ve had to visit the Same Day Health Centre a few times. It’s well organised and waiting times are minimal. I’ve always been treated with courtesy and given thorough medical care.

Doctor was amazing sorted me straight away no issues very kind and professional all ppe worn temp taken very professional

Reception staff quite abrupt my appointment was 19.30 got there at 19.22 he basically told the doctor should not of booked me in as they finish at 20.00, not my fault his attitude was horrible

The process of calling to get an appointment was brilliant and quicker than expected. My main issue was how I was treated by the two nurses that I saw. I have tonsillitis which I had four times last year so I know the signs. On the first visit Saturday 27th March. I had my temperature taken and advised to get a covid test. I was rushed out of the room as soon as possible. After having a test and reviving the results promptly I was negative. I then went through the whole process again on the Sunday calling to get an appointment. The nurse asked why I was here today as she could see I had been there the day before. She wasn’t very wasn’t very nice in her manner. I said it’s for the same reason that I had tonsillitis. She said it might not necessarily be that. I understand you don’t want people self diagnosing but I’ve suffered so many times with tonsillitis that I know what I’m looking for. One of the main things to look at is my throat which I was told she shouldn’t be doing. I understand the whole covid thing but that needed checking. She confirmed it was tonsillitis and I finally got the antibiotics I needed.

Not to be treat like I’m stupid or trying to be clever by knowing what I’ve got.
