The waiting time was far too long. I was given a prescription for medication that I had said I had already tried and didn’t work. I was also given this on a hospital only prescription at 12.30am so even if it did work I wouldn’t have been able to get it anyway.
I left after 7 hours (although pain free) from ? Medication as I wasn’t told what they gave me, no better off than when I got there.
I was also unable to get a drink as the vending machines were all empty and ended up having to drink water out of the tap in the toilets!! Disgraceful!!
I went there because I was having a really bad asthma attack and felt like I couldn’t breath and was very scared. While I was being booked in I was told the wait was 7 hours. I didn’t feel like I could stay there that long so left and called my doctor
Nurses and doctors where very friendly and listened to what I had to say. They were very understanding and concerned and treat me with the upmost care and compassion.
I’m not stafing this emergency sarives
I attended at about 6pm and had to wait in the temporary corridor for a few hours before even being asked my details. Then waited until 12.00 to even be seen in triage. Finally saw a doctor at about 5 am and was given a further blood pressure tablet which I had to ask what it was. I left as I could not stand it anymore and it was making me feel worse. My gp sent me due to my blood pressure being very high.
I understand there was only one doctor on but was first told 5and a half hour wait, the 6and a half then 7 then 8 - even though I had been there 10 hours.
I know everyone has done a fantastic job during the pandemic but that shocked me
Long waits (7hrs) rushed when seen not given much information and just referred back to a gp. Not told what they tested for or why at any point.
I turned up at A & E at Grimsby hospital in pain and i received fairlh prompt treatment considoring all appoinments in the system. I received X-Rays and triage as quickly as lossible the nurses snd the Doctor I saw were proffessional and caring.
Very good and peofessional care.
I'm not convinced the diagnosis is correct. 3 days later my foot is still as painful and I'm unable to weight bear on it. Would have assumed I'd have had an X-ray to at least rule out the possibility of a broken bone (however small that may be)?
The high scores are for the man who called me and assessed my ankle, very personable, caring and considerate.
