Once H and H were aware of my dad's condition we received almost daily calls to offer shifts which were a lifeline to me (daughter and carer). We experienced a communication breakdown initially between Nipton Gen hospital and GP, meaning dad didn't get any home support till 6 weeks after terminal diagnosis, support was actually open to us. Once care started the various teams involved (district nurse/H and H/Prime care) worked very well together. On a personal note, I could not have coped without H and H not only practical care but emotional support too, having them to talk to and their expertise in preparing/equipping me to care for dad at home. Thank you so much.
Professional without fuss. No hurry.
Considerate, friendly taking patients needs into consideration at all times.
Improvements: Nothing major, but could district nurse give a leaflet to the family concerned regarding this service and what it can do being available. I had no info about until a telephone call "out of the blue" that a nurse wanted to come.
Other 5*****
Lovely staff, very caring.
Extremely good nursing.
Also their faces have always smiling.
Nothing too much.
My care could not have been improved on. The nurses were unfailing cheerful and happily did any trivial request! The doctors had time to listen and all the staff were most kind.
Roxanne was very helpful and kind. She explained my circumstances in detail and suggested ways I could improve. Roxane provided me with suppression garments and tape and I am thrilled with the difference these have made. Words can not say how much I appreciate her help and support - big thank you.
Cannot think of anything that could be improved.

My father was looked after by the nurses at his end of life at home.
