The care given to patient was very respectful of him and his needs. We were very grateful for the help and care of the patient.
Everything has been explained along the way.
Fantastic care all the time.
Doctors/nurses available at all time needed.
Dignity is respected at all times.
All staff have time to help/answer queries.
The loving, professional care provided to my husband, myself and immediate family was superb.
I understand what limited what limited resources you are working with and therefore could not suggest improvements.
The attitude of the staff and volunteers is superb. They are kind, friendly and supportive both to the patient and family members. Nothing is too much trouble. Restful and peaceful surroundings.
All the staff are lovely, kind and caring especially Jamie Smith.
Having hospice at home made all the difference to me and my husband.
Apart from the nursing aspect, which was excellent, it really took the pressure off me and I was able to relax for a while knowing someone was there who could take charge if any situation arise.
Maybe knowing more than one day in advance that someone was coming would be a benefit.
Thank you for your feedback regarding notice of shifts to be provided. We will endeavour to look at ways of providing more notice of visits as the service develops further. Presently, the service is limited to booking shifts a day or a few hours ahead, due to the nature of the patients we are caring for and the patient’s condition can deteriorate within a matter of a few hours.
The staff who came were gentle and caring to myself and my daughter. We were given time to ourselves, secure in the knowledge that my husband was in safe and caring hands. They were sympathetic with and understanding of the situation and carried out their expert duties with respect to my husband. I have no criticism of them in anyway.
The only improvement I could see was that a little more notice might be given (though I realize that this is well high impossible, given the nature of the work). As to when they could come. I vaguely remember some class of visiting with the IC team on one occasion.

Very supportive and practical help. I was treated as an individual and felt cared for.
