Because of all the effort made by carers.
I have had the most amazing, compassionate care from the lovely nurses at the clinic. [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] work in total harmony and it has not affected the quality of care I have had, receiving it from 3 people rather than one. They communicate so well between themselves and know exactly what has happened in the previous appointment - very professional. They have provided me with everything I need to manage my lymphoedema. Thank you so much you lovely ladies.
The nurse was very caring and helpful
The support I received while caring for my terminally I’ll husband was invaluable. It enabled me to take breaks which I definitely needed. The only downside was not knowing until the actual day when someone would be available to sit with him, so it wasn’t possible to plan ahead. However I appreciate that staff resources are limited and there are others needing help.
Thank you for your feedback. We accept it is very difficult for some patients and carers with the service only providing availability on the day or the day before. We are trying to look at how we can provide more planned support to patients and there is further work ongoing to explore this. In response to the question about carers 4 times a day, this is not something we are responsible for, this would have been organised through Continuing Healthcare Funding, so feedback direct to the agency would be the most appropriate way of doing this. We cnanot provide the feedback as this response is anonymous, therefore we have no way of identifying the patient or the agency used to provide the care
Couldn't be more grateful for the attention and care given.
Well looked after.
Caring staff, friendly and helpful.
He was treated with great care and compassion.
Thank you for your feedback. It is good to hear about the care and compassion provided by the Hospice at home team. The team will try and provide care in a timely manner, and we will continue to work on how we can ensure care is provided as quickly as possible. It is difficult to determine from this review whether the 'rapid response' team was involved in your husbands care, and potentially this is where the delay may have occurred, if so this is a service provided by a different organization. We will continue to work as different providers to provide the best possible and timely response to patients and their carers.
