Every nurse and HCA built relationships very quickly. It was excellent to be able to spend a few hours when questions could be asked and problems explained with very experienced, skilled people. They helped to build confidence in the merged roles of spouse. carer or daughters/ carers. Also it allowed for periods of rest/ sleep after disturbed nights. We all were confident that the care would be individually targets and designed for the benefit of the patient and the family.

The level of care was exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble. Working alongside the district nurses and covering all possible assistance (medical, financial and administrative) to suggestions and emotional support. Even a follow up call after she'd died and the contact with Millbrook so that medical equipment was taken away quickly.
Huge thanks to Maxine and all the teams involved.

I was arranged at great everyone was the carers were brilliant, the district nurses were lovely and the Marie Guric nurses were so good as well.
We could not have had better care and we are no grateful to everyone who came to our house.

Nothing is too much trouble for all staff. They make you feel relaxed and up to date with what can and is being done to help the patient and family. All queries are explained to help. It's nice knowing there is always someone to talk to. It's also good to be able to have some light moments, when you can have same humor.

The Lymphodema therapist (LT) was very kind and reassuring in discussing my treatment. She took time to explain what she was doing and what I had to do regarding exercises. She was friendly and professional.

Based on our experience no improvement could be made. Facilities to update a change in circumstances in place, very helpful.
Could not have been given better, service, information, care and courtesy during the whole experience/contact.

I enjoy the company of the group and feel nothing is too much trouble for the staff and volunteers.
